The incoming audio and video signal is identically forwarded to both outputs, ensuring that both connected displays show the same image and sound. HDMI Input The HDMI™ splitter features 1x HDMI-A female input. An HDMI™ source device, which provides a digital audio and video signal, can be connected to this port. HDMI Outputs The HDMI™ splitter features 2x HDMI-A female outputs. Both outputs simultaneously display the same audio and video signal on connected televisions, monitors, or projectors. Image and Video Support The HDMI™ splitter supports resolutions up to 3840 × 2160 @ 60 Hz (4K UHD). This corresponds to the HDMI™ 2.0 level with a maximum bandwidth of 18 Gbit/s. Lower resolutions such as 4K@30Hz, 1080p, 1080i, and 720p are automatically passed through. HDMI Level HDMI™ 2.0 – Premium High Speed, suitable for 4K video signals up to 60 Hz. Color and Image Formats Supports HDMI™ color encodings RGB and YCbCr. Color formats YCbCr 4:4:4, YCbCr 4:2:2, and YCbCr 4:2:0 are passed through within the available bandwidth. Support for color depths of 24-bit, 30-bit, and 36-bit is included. HDR / 3D HDR video signals are passed through via pass-through if provided by the source and supported by the connected displays. 3D video signals are supported within the HDMI™ 2.0 specification. Audio Support Supports digital audio transmission via HDMI™, including LPCM, Dolby Digital (AC-3), Dolby TrueHD, DTS 7.1, and DTS-HD Master Audio. Audio is transmitted to both HDMI™ outputs simultaneously with the video signal. Signal Amplification The splitter features a built-in amplifier function to minimize signal loss over longer cable lengths. The maximum supported cable lengths are 30 m at the input and 25 m at the outputs when using an AWG26 HDMI cable. Signal Direction Unidirectional. The HDMI™ signal is distributed from the input to both outputs. Power Supply The HDMI™ splitter is powered via an external power adapter (DC 5 V).
