Bnc cable

Description This coaxial cable is designed for transmitting RF and video signals via a BNC connection. The cable is equipped with BNC male to BNC male connectors and is used with equipment featuring a BNC interface. The cable has a coaxial construction based on RG58 with a characteristic impedance of 50 Ω. This construction is common for RF signals, test equipment, and communication links. The BNC connectors feature a bayonet coupling, which securely fastens the plugs to the connection, creating a stable link. The cable features double shielding that helps reduce external interference. The round cable construction with a PVC jacket protects the internal conductor and shielding against mechanical stress. Specifications & Features • Brand Goobay • Cable type coaxial RF and video signal cable • Cable type RG58 coaxial cable • Impedance 50 Ω • Connection 1 BNC male • Connection 2 BNC male • Shielding double • Connector type BNC bayonet • Cable type coaxial cable, round • Color black • Certifications CE, WEEE Technical explanation Impedance represents the electrical resistance a cable offers to an alternating signal. For RF and communication signals, an impedance of 50 Ω is often used. RG58 is a type of coaxial cable with a central conductor, dielectric insulation, shielding, and outer jacket. RG58 is common in RF applications such as antenna cables, test equipment, and communication links. Ask a product question
