Description
This pan 'au bain-marie' from Ibili is useful for indirectly heating or melting chocolate, for example. The chocolate pieces go into the top of the round 'bowl'; the hot water goes through the side opening into the compartment at the bottom of the pan. The bowl is fixed in the pan, so that the water does not reach the chocolate. The pan is made of stainless steel and suitable for all heat sources except induction. The pan is also useful for keeping satay sauce, for example, warm during the barbecue; or for heating up a one-person meal. The capacity of the bowl is 1 liter, the diameter is 16 cm.
